Cooler Master GM34-CWQ2 Specs

The screen is 34″ in size and offers a curved format VA technology panel (1500R) with a 3440 x 1440 resolution. There is a 2ms G2G response time, 4000:1 static contrast ratio, 320 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit+FRC colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 95% of the DCI-P3 reference space. The screen has an overclocked 180Hz refresh rate (165Hz native) which is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible NVIDIA and AMD systems, and should meet the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium’ certification tier. A 0.5ms MPRT spec also suggests the availability of a strobing blur reduction backlight mode.

For video connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 available. There is also 1x USB type-C with 65W power delivery (although seemingly without DP Alt mode) as well as 2x USB data ports. The stand offers tilt, height and swivel adjustments (no rotate). There are also 2x 5W speakers built in to the screen and it will support PiP and PbP modes for multiple inputs.

Pricing and Availability

The GM34-CWQ2 has an RRP of $419USD, or £379 GBP in the UK and is expected to be released in early Q1 2024. Note that the UK price is also impacted by shipping costs, exchange rates and VAT as is always the case.
