Details of a new screen from Philips have appeared on Chinese retailer taobao. The 329M1RV is a 32″ sized screen offering a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution ‘Fast IPS’ technology panel along with a 144Hz refresh rate. It uses adaptive sync to support VRR from both NVIDIA and AMD systems.
Spec wise the 32″ screen offers a 3840 x 2160 4K resolution, 1ms G2G quoted response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The specs list inclusion of Philips’ Ambiglow technology for creating nice RGB lighting effects as seen on many of their TV models. There is also DTS sound supported by the integrated speakers. The screen also carried a factory calibration with dE <2 quoted
1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x USB type-C and 2x HDMI 2.0 (not expected to feature HDMI 2.1 it seems) ports are available for connectivity along with an audio output.

Please keep in mind that final specs might be subject to change as we’ve seen a couple of occasions where specs from Taobao are updated or changed later by the manufacturer, but usually they offer a good view of new screens being released often before they are announced in regions like the UK and USA.
