Announced for this year’s CES event is a new large format screen from Dell, in their popular UltraSharp range. The U4320Q is 42.5″ in size and features a 3840 x 2160 resolution. Productivity and ease of use are the key focuses with this new screen. You can view up to four connected devices simultaneously on the screen if you wish through the advanced Picture By Picture (PbP) capability. There is also easy connectivity with USB type-C provided for single cable connections and up to 90W of power delivery.

With a 42.5″ screen size the large 3840 x 2160 resolution is usable without the need for operating system scaling. The screen is based on an IPS technology panel and offers an 8ms G2G response time (5ms in fast mode), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07b colour depth and a standard gamut covering 96% of the sRGB reference. It’s a 60Hz display by the way, not aimed at gaming but more general office and productivity usage. Common (nowadays) eye care features like flicker free backlight dimming and low blue light modes are included.

The stand offers a full range of tilt, height and swivel adjustments. For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4 (although some of the images suggest there might be two), 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x USB type-C, audio out and 2x USB 3.1 ports. There are also some USB ports on the side of the screen for easy access (1x USB downstream and 1x USB-C downstream).

The U4320Q will be available 30th January 2020 at a price of $1,049.99 USD.
