Cooler Master Announce Range of New Gaming Monitors in 27″, 32″ and 34″ Sizes

Cooler Master have today announced a range of new monitors in their line-up. We reviewed both of their current models last year, the 27″ Cooler Master GM27-CF and the 34″ ultrawide Cooler Master GM34-CW. Today new models in their GM series are the 27″ 1440p 165Hz GM27-FQS, the 27″ 1080p 240Hz GM27-CFX, the 32″ 1440p 165Hz GM32-FQ and the 34″ ultrawide 1440p 144Hz GM34-CWQ . These models are aimed at a “work and play” setup, designed to support your gaming and work needs. A run down of each model and their specs follows.

Cooler Master GM27-FQS

This is a 27″ sized model with a flat format IPS-type panel. It offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution combined with a 165Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from both AMD and NVIDIA systems. Cooler Master talk about an expected ‘G-sync Compatible’ certification in the press material as well.

There is also a 1ms G2G and 1ms MPRT response time spec, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit+FRC colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 90% DCI-P3. For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort (v1.4 we believe) and 2x HDMI 2.0 provided along with a pair of USB ports. A full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments are offered from the stand. The GM27-FQS is expected in Q4 2021 at an MSRP of $449 USD

Cooler Master GM32-FQ

This is a 32″ sized model with a flat format IPS-type panel (from BOE, their ADS technology). It offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution combined with a 165Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from both AMD and NVIDIA systems. Cooler Master talk about an expected ‘G-sync Compatible’ certification in the press material as well.

There is also a 1ms G2G and 1ms MPRT response time spec, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 95% DCI-P3. For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort (v1.4 we believe),1x USB type-C and 2x HDMI 2.0 provided along with a pair of USB ports. Tilt and height adjustments are offered from the stand with swivel marked as “TBC” (but no rotate). The GM32-FQ is expected in Q4 2021 at an MSRP of $499 USD.

Cooler Master GM27-CFX

This is a 27″ sized model with a 1500R curved VA panel. It offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution combined with a 240Hz refresh rate and builds on the capabilities of the older CF model we tested last year. The high refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from both AMD and NVIDIA systems. Cooler Master talk about an expected ‘G-sync Compatible’ certification in the press material as well.

There is also a 1ms MPRT response time spec, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 90% DCI-P3. For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort (v1.4 we believe) and 2x HDMI 2.0 provided. No USB ports listed for this model but it does feature 2x 2W integrated speakers. Tilt and height adjustments are offered from the stand with swivel marked as “TBC” (but no rotate). The GM27-CFX is expected in Q4 2021 at an MSRP of $349 USD.

Cooler Master GM34-CWQ

This is a 34″ ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio model with a 1500R curved format VA panel . It offers a 3440 x 1440 resolution combined with a 144Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from both AMD and NVIDIA systems. Cooler Master talk about an expected ‘G-sync Compatible’ certification in the press material as well.

There is also a 1ms MPRT response time spec (G2G not listed), 4000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 90% DCI-P3. For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort (v1.4 we believe) and 2x HDMI 2.0 provided. No mention of USB ports but there are 2x 5W speakers on this model. Tilt and height adjustments are offered from the stand with swivel marked as “TBC” (but no rotate obviously on a curved ultrawide like this). The GM34-CWQ is expected in Q4 2021 at an MSRP of $549 USD.

Low blue light and flicker free technologies are promoted across all the models. Lighting features are also included with standard purple only lighting on all but the GM27-FQS which features RGB lighting.
