We thought we would add a temporary page to track all the monitor deals available from key retailers during the Black Friday weekend which starts from Friday 29th November this year.

There have been a few early black Friday deals available which we have listed below in case any of these screens were of interest to you, including some decent discounts on some great monitors. We’ve also included a note of some current special offers which might be worth looking at if you’re in the market for a deal at this time of year, or on the lead up to Christmas.

Acer XV340CKP with 34″ Flat Ultrawide IPS Panel and 144Hz Refresh Rate

Acer have recently released a new 34″ sized screen in some regions, their XV340CKP. This is a somewhat unusual screen option as it has a 34″ ultrawide panel, but has a flat format instead of curved. It features a 3440 x 1440 resolution IPS technology panel and a native 144Hz refresh rate as well. This is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR support from both NVIDIA and AMD systems.

Acer VG252QX with 24.5″ IPS Panel and 240Hz Refresh Rate

Acer have released details of another new gaming screen in their lineup. This one looks very similar to the already announced XV253QX but with a more basic stand. The new model is the VG252QX and will feature a 24.5″ sized IPS technology panel with a native 240Hz refresh rate. This is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from both AMD and NVIDIA systems.

Nixeus NX-EDG34 with 34″ Ultrawide VA Panel and 144Hz Refresh Rate

Nixeus have just launched a new model in their lineup of gaming monitors. The NX-EDG34 is 34″ in size and has a curved ultrawide panel with 3440 x 1440 resolution. It uses a VA technology panel and offers a 144Hz refresh rate and support for adaptive sync VRR. It is available in two flavours, the normal EDG34 which has a height adjustable stand, and the EDG34S with a more basic tilt-only stand

NEC MultiSync PA311D for Professional Usage with 4K and Wide Colour Gamut

NEC have just release a new monitor in their MultiSync lineup, aimed at professional uses and colour critical work. The PA311D is 31.1″ in size and features a 4096 x 2160 resolution IPS technology panel. It has a range of specs and features geared at colour accuracy and high end usage.

Acer Predator XB273 X with 27″ 240Hz IPS Panel, 0.1ms G2G and Native G-sync

Acer look set to release a new 27″ model in their Predator gaming lineup. The XB273 X is an interesting option, offering a 27″ screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 240Hz IPS technology panel. There’s been a few 240Hz IPS models announced so far, but what makes this one different is that it will use a traditional hardware G-sync module (a “native G-sync” screen). This is still an attractive option to many gamers who are looking for optimal VRR experience from NVIDIA systems and some of the other common benefits that this hardware offers.

AOC AGON AG273QX with Flat 165Hz VA Panel and FreeSync 2

AOC have this week announced their new AG273QX display, the newest competitive-grade display from its 3rd generation AGON line-up. The new display is 27″ in size and features a 2560 x 1440 resolution VA panel, 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms MPRT spec and FreeSync 2 support for variable refresh rates. Unlike a lot of similar screens this model is flat in format as opposed to curved and has a 3-side frameless design.

Acer XB273 U with 27″ IPS Panel, 165Hz and 90% DCI-P3 Gamut

A new model from Acer has appeared on some regional retail pages which looks interesting. The XB273 U will offer a 27″ IPS technology panel with 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It will also feature a wide colour gamut with >90% DCI-P3 quoted. The screen has G-sync compatibility via the adaptive-sync standard, meaning it can support VRR from both AMD and NVIDIA systems.

MSI Optix MAG272RX and MAG272CRX with 240Hz VA Panels and 1ms MPRT

MSI are set to release two new models in their range, featuring 27″ VA technology panels and supporting a 240Hz native refresh rate. We have already seen a couple of models announced from Samsung and AOC featuring 240Hz VA panels, so this will provide another alternative option for gamers. The two new models are the Optix MAG272RX (flat) and MAG272CRX (curved 1500R). Both offer a 1920 x 1080 resolution.
