Asus have released details of their new ROG Strix XG32VC display on their website. This screen is 31.5″ in size and offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution curved VA panel along with a 170Hz refresh rate and interesting connectivity options like USB type-C and KVM support. It also includes adaptive-sync support for VRR from both AMD and NVIDIA systems (including G-sync Compatible certification and AMD FreeSync Premium), and includes Asus’ ELMB-sync technology for simultaneous blur reduction and VRR.

Spec wise the screen is 31.5″ in size and features a VA technology panel offering 2560 x 1440 resolution, 1ms MPRT spec, 170Hz refresh rate maximum, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07b colour depth, and a wide gamut offering 90% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB coverage.

A USB type-C connection supports video transmission in DisplayPort signal and can serve as a USB hub, meaning that you can connect your device to your wired peripherals with clutter-free set-up. It can also use to charge your mobile device. The reversible USB Type-C connector design makes connecting any device effortless and quick. When two devices are connected to the monitor, the KVM switch lets you control them both using just one keyboard and mouse. This saves the desk space and it’s more intuitive.

For connectivity there are DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 ports provided along with the USB type-C port and a headphone output jack. The stand provides tilt, height, swivel and tilt adjustments.
