AOC China have released details of a new display in their popular AGON line-up. The AG274FZ is 27″ in size and features a 1920 x 1080 (1080p) IPS panel combined with a 1ms G2G response time and 260Hz maximum refresh rate. Adaptive-sync is used to offer VRR support for both NVIDIA and AMD systems (AMD FreeSync Premium certification included).
Spec wise the 27″ panel offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 bightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and a standard 99% sRGB colour gamut. The screen comes with a factory calibration offering dE <2. An added Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) strobing backlight mode is provided as well, giving rise to a quoted 0.5ms MPRT.
For connectivity there are 2x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 ports provided, along with 4x USB 3.2 ports, a headphone jack and mic input. The screen also features integrated 2x 5W stereo speakers with DTS sound. There are also some AOC Light FX lighting features built in to the base of the stand. Additional gaming extras like a ‘dark field control’, FPS counter etc are included as on other AGON gaming screens. The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
