AOC AGON Pro AG274FZ with 27″ 1080p IPS Panel and 260Hz Refresh Rate Announced

Originally detailed on AOC China’s website back in May 2021, we now have further details and confirmation about a new AOC gaming screen in their AGON Pro series. The AG274FZ is 27″ in size and features a 1920 x 1080 (1080p) IPS panel combined with a 1ms G2G response time and 260Hz maximum refresh rate. Adaptive-sync is used to offer VRR support for both NVIDIA and AMD systems (AMD FreeSync Premium certification included).
AOC AGON Pro AG274FZ Spec
Spec wise the 27″ IPS technology panel offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and an extended colour gamut covering 111% sRGB, 92% Adobe RGB and 86% DCI-P3. The screen comes with a factory calibration offering dE <2. An added Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) strobing backlight mode is provided as well, giving rise to a quoted 0.5ms MPRT.
Connectivity options
For connectivity there are 2x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 ports provided, along with 4x USB 3.2 ports, a headphone jack and mic input. The screen also features integrated 2x 5W stereo speakers with DTS sound. There are also some AOC Light FX lighting features built in to the base of the stand. Additional gaming extras like a ‘dark field control’, FPS counter etc are included as on other AGON gaming screens. The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
The screen is expected to be available with an RRP of £389 GBP in the UK
There is also a larger 31.5″ in this new AGON Pro range which is the AG324UX (4K, 144Hz, HDMI 2.1).
