Asus ROG Swift PG279QM, TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A and ROG Strix XG43UQ Coming Soon

Some brief information has been announced at CES 2021 in regards to a few new screens from Asus. We don’t have a massive amount of info about these yet, but what we do know is included below. The new models include the 27″ ROG Swift PG279QM, the 28″ TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A and the 43.4″ ROG Strix XG43UQ. The latter two have HDMI 2.1 connectivity as well. We have already covered their new ROG Swift PG32UQ in a separate news piece.

Samsung Planning New G75 Curved Gaming Monitor with 4K Resolution and HDR 1000

We have very little information about this possible new screen, but it has appeared on the list of CES 2021 Innovation award honorees. It suggests that Samsung are planning to launch a new model in what they are calling their G75 lineup, perhaps following on from their existing “Odyssey G7” models. Although even those current models actually have the model designations with “G75” in them (C27G75T and C32G75T). Confusing. Anyway, the screen talked about on the CES website is the “Samsung G75 curved gaming monitor“.

Asus ROG Swift PG32UQ with 32″ IPS Panel, 4K, 144Hz and HDMI 2.1

Asus’ Republic of Gamers (ROG) CES 2021 press event has taken place today and they have announced some details of various monitor developments. The first is their new ROG Swift PG32UQ display which is 32″ in size, with a 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It will also offer HDMI 2.1 connectivity for the latest generation of consoles and graphics cards.

ViewSonic Elite XG321UG with 32″ IPS Panel, 4K, 144Hz, G-sync Ultimate and Mini LED Backlight

At this year’s CES 2021 event ViewSonic have announced a selection of new Elite gaming screens in their range. One model in particular deserved it’s own news piece given it’s high end spec and feature set. The Elite XG321UG is a 32″ sized IPS screen offering a 4K resolution, high 144Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-sync Ultimate and a Mini LED backlight with HDR 1400 certification.

ViewSonic Announce Range of New Monitors in their Elite Gaming Line-up Including XG320U, XG320Q, XG271QG and XG2431

ViewSonic have announced a range of new monitors in their Elite gaming line-up at this year’s CES 2021 event. These include models in sizes of 24″, 27″ and 32″ and with a range of refresh rates, resolutions and features aimed at gamers. The models include the XG320U, XG320Q, XG271QG and XG2431. ViewSonic Extend their VP Range With Several New Models Including the 8K Resolution VP3286-8K

ViewSonic have announced a range of new monitors at this year’s CES event. This includes their new ColorPro models including the VP3286-8K display offering a 32″ sized panel with a whopping 7680 x 4320 8K resolution. There is also a range of other models announced in sizes of 32″ and 27″ and with a range of resolutions. All models are aimed at professional users and colour critical work.

HP Announce Range of New M-series and New E24u G4 and E27u G4 Monitors

HP have announced a few new monitors at this year’s CES 2021 event. These include their new HP M-series which are focused on home workers and productivity improvements. These are available in 23.8, 27 and 31.5″ models. There are also 2 new models in their E series with the 23.8″ E24u G4 and 27″ E27u G4 models announced, these offering USB type-C connectivity convenience.

LG 27GP950 Announced as Successor to 27GN950, Now Including HDMI 2.1

LG have announced today at their CES 2021 event the new UltraGear 27GP950 monitor. The successor to their flagship 27GN950 display we reviewed recently will offer largely the same specs and features, but this time with HDMI 2.1 connectivity added. The screen is 27″ in size with a 3840 x 2160 (4K) Nano IPS panel and a 160Hz maximum refresh rate. This offers a wide colour gamut covering 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space and includes some edge-lit local dimming for VESA Display HDR 600 certification. The screen has a 4-side borderless design still.

LG 40WP95C with Curved 40″ IPS Panel and 5K2K Resolution Announced

LG have announced at CES 2021 their new 40WP95C display. This is a 39.7″ sized (40″ basically) monitor with a curved format and 5K2K (5120 x 2160) resolution IPS panel. This follows on from the recently announced Dell U4021QW with similar specs and the same panel. Little information is available in the press release at the moment other than it has a 3-side borderless design and that there are DisplayPort, HDMI and USB ports for connectivity. There are also integrated stereo speakers. More information when we get it. Some pictures from the press release are included.

LG UltraFine 32EP950 OLED Pro Monitor Announced with 4K for Professional Users

LG have announced a very interesting new monitor at this year’s CES event. The UltraFine 32EP950 OLED Pro display will feature a 31.5″ sized OLED panel with 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution. This will be the company’s first venture in to the monitor market with their very popular OLED technology. The screen is aimed at professional high end uses including video production, movie editing and colour critical work.
