Acer Predator XB323QU NV with 32″ IPS Panel, 1440p Resolution and 170Hz Refresh Rate

Details of a new monitor in Acer’s popular Predator gaming line-up has appeared on Chinese retailer taobao.com. The Predator XB323QU NV is a 32″ sized screen with a ‘Fast IPS’ technology panel and 2560 x 1440 resolution. It includes a 1ms G2G response time spec and 170Hz overclocked refresh rate. This is supported by adaptive sync for VRR from both NVIDIA G-sync and AMD FreeSync systems.

MSI Optix MPG343CQR is the First in Their ARTYMIS Series with a Range of Gaming AI Features Included

MSI have unveiled details of a new gaming monitor in their forthcoming “ARTYMIS” line-up. The MSI Optix MPG343CQR (aka the MSI MPG ARTYMIS 343CQR) is marketed by MSI as “the world’s first 1000R AI Curved Gaming Monitor”. This is a 34″ sized screen with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and a 1000R curvature. MSI explain the meaning behind the Artymis branding: “Formerly known as Ἄρτεμις and derived from Greek mythology. It is at the same time known as Luna (New Moon) and Goddess of Hunting. When hunting, she wore a silver bow and rode a silver cart pulled by a female deer with golden antlers. The image shows both kindness and majesty, just like the moon’s surplus and deficiency.”.…yes, well.

Asus ROG Swift PG279QM, TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A and ROG Strix XG43UQ Coming Soon

Some brief information has been announced at CES 2021 in regards to a few new screens from Asus. We don’t have a massive amount of info about these yet, but what we do know is included below. The new models include the 27″ ROG Swift PG279QM, the 28″ TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A and the 43.4″ ROG Strix XG43UQ. The latter two have HDMI 2.1 connectivity as well. We have already covered their new ROG Swift PG32UQ in a separate news piece.

Samsung Planning New G75 Curved Gaming Monitor with 4K Resolution and HDR 1000

We have very little information about this possible new screen, but it has appeared on the list of CES 2021 Innovation award honorees. It suggests that Samsung are planning to launch a new model in what they are calling their G75 lineup, perhaps following on from their existing “Odyssey G7” models. Although even those current models actually have the model designations with “G75” in them (C27G75T and C32G75T). Confusing. Anyway, the screen talked about on the CES website is the “Samsung G75 curved gaming monitor“.

Asus ROG Swift PG32UQ with 32″ IPS Panel, 4K, 144Hz and HDMI 2.1

Asus’ Republic of Gamers (ROG) CES 2021 press event has taken place today and they have announced some details of various monitor developments. The first is their new ROG Swift PG32UQ display which is 32″ in size, with a 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It will also offer HDMI 2.1 connectivity for the latest generation of consoles and graphics cards.

ViewSonic Elite XG321UG with 32″ IPS Panel, 4K, 144Hz, G-sync Ultimate and Mini LED Backlight

At this year’s CES 2021 event ViewSonic have announced a selection of new Elite gaming screens in their range. One model in particular deserved it’s own news piece given it’s high end spec and feature set. The Elite XG321UG is a 32″ sized IPS screen offering a 4K resolution, high 144Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-sync Ultimate and a Mini LED backlight with HDR 1400 certification.

ViewSonic Extend their VP Range With Several New Models Including the 8K Resolution VP3286-8K

ViewSonic have announced a range of new monitors at this year’s CES event. This includes their new ColorPro models including the VP3286-8K display offering a 32″ sized panel with a whopping 7680 x 4320 8K resolution. There is also a range of other models announced in sizes of 32″ and 27″ and with a range of resolutions. All models are aimed at professional users and colour critical work.
