Acer Predator CG552K with 55″ OLED Panel, 4K Resolution, 120Hz Refresh Rate and Adaptive-sync

At this year’s CES event in Las Vegas Acer have announced their massive new 55″ Predator CG552K display, featuring an OLED technology panel. This giant display is an equivalent to the already available Dell Alienware AW5520QF and offers a 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution combined with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates.

Acer Predator X32 with 32″ IPS Panel, 4K Resolution, 144Hz, G-sync Ultimate and HDR 1400

Acer have announced for this year’s CES event their new 32″ Predator X32 display featuring a very high end spec and cutting edge technology. The X32 offers a 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution IPS-type panel and 144Hz refresh rate, and is supported by NVIDIA G-sync Ultimate with a Native G-sync hardware module for variable refresh rates. This may well of course also feature the latest firmware allowing use of VRR from non-NVIDIA graphics cards although that is not yet confirmed. The screen uses a Mini LED backlight with 1,152 local dimming zones for high end HDR capability, and taking it a step beyond current FALD backlight options. This allows it to support the latest VESA DisplayHDR 1400 standard as well.

Nixeus NX-EDG274K Announced with 27″ 4K IPS-type Panel and 144Hz Refresh Rate using DSC

Nixeus have just announced the addition of a new 27” 4K @ 144Hz display to their EDG gaming monitor series. Utilizing the latest display panel technology, the Nixeus NX-EDG274K natively supports an UltraHD 3840 x 2160 resolution with 144Hz refresh rate using a single DisplayPort 1.4 cable connection using VESA Display Stream Compression (DSC). It also has adaptive sync support for variable refresh rates from both AMD and NVIDIA systems (48 – 144Hz range).

BenQ ZOWIE XL2746S with 1080p TN Film Panel, 240Hz Refresh Rate and DyAc+

BenQ are releasing a new eSports monitor in their ZOWIE gaming lineup. The XL2746S is 27″ in size and will offer a 1920 x 1080 resolution TN Film panel and 240Hz refresh rate. This is supported via adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from both AMD and NVIDIA systems (48 – 240Hz range), including LFC for low frame rates. It also supports their DyAc+ technology for improved accuracy and reduced motion blur.

Samsung Odyssey G9 and G7 with 49″/32″/27″ Panels, 240Hz Refresh Rate and 1000R Curvature

Samsung has just introduced its new line-up of groundbreaking curved Odyssey gaming monitors at CES 2020. The new line-up has been completely re-imagined with gamers in mind, including radically new curved displays and industry-leading performance features for a whole new way to game. There are 3 new screens being showcased. The G9 which is 49″ in size and G7 models which are available in 32″ and 27″. These new models have a deeper curvature than typical curved screens at 1000R. They also boast a 1ms response time spec and impressive 240Hz “RapidCurve” refresh rate.

All the new Odyssey monitors will feature adaptive sync support, allowing for variable refresh rates from both AMD and NVIDIA systems. The screens are currently in the process of being officially certified by NVIDIA as G-sync Compatible according to the press release.

Sneak peek: LG 38GN950 with 37.5″ IPS Panel, 160Hz Refresh Rate and (likely) Adaptive-sync

Image is of 38GL950G but we expect design to be similar for the 38GN950

While there is little official information about this screen yet, we thought we would bring you what we did know so far. LG are set to release what is expected to be an adaptive-sync / FreeSync version of their only-just-about released 38GL950G . The new 38GN950 will be a 37.5″ ultrawide screen with IPS panel, 3840 x 1600 resolution and high 160Hz refresh rate.

Dell UltraSharp U2720Q with 27″ 4K IPS Panel and Wide Colour Gamut

Dell have announced for this year’s CES event the new 27″ UltraSharp U2720Q – not to be confused with the similarly named UP2720Q which is in their UltraSharp Premium range. The U2720Q is focused on offering “true, superior colour” and improved productivity, and offers an IPS panel with wide colour gamut and a 4K resolution. It also features a borderless design ideal for multi-monitor setups.

Dell UltraSharp U4320Q with 42.5″ 4K Resolution Panel for Improved Productivity

Announced for this year’s CES event is a new large format screen from Dell, in their popular UltraSharp range. The U4320Q is 42.5″ in size and features a 3840 x 2160 resolution. Productivity and ease of use are the key focuses with this new screen. You can view up to four connected devices simultaneously on the screen if you wish through the advanced Picture By Picture (PbP) capability. There is also easy connectivity with USB type-C provided for single cable connections and up to 90W of power delivery.

Dell Showcase New U2520Q Monitor at CES with 25″ IPS Panel and Wide Colour Gamut

Dell are showcasing a new 25″ monitor in their UltraSharp range at this year’s CES event in Las Vegas. The U2520Q offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution IPS panel and a wide 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It is aimed at general all round and productivity uses and includes a USB type-C port for single cable connectivity.

AOC AGON AG273FZE with 27″ 1080p IPS Panel and 240Hz Refresh Rate

AOC have released details of a new gaming display in their AGON series, the 27″ AG273FZE. This model features a 1920 x 1080 resolution IPS technology panel and 240Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is supported via adaptive-sync, offering VRR support from both AMD and NVIDIA systems. A 0.5ms MPRT spec is also offered as the screen has an added motion blur reduction backlight option.
