Eizo ColorEdge CG279X for Professional Users and HDR Video Editing

Eixzo have just announced their new 27″ ColorEdge CG279X display, the successor to the CG277.  According to the press release: “Distinguishing it from its predecessor, the ColorEdge CG279X comes equipped with HLG (hybrid log-gamma) and the PQ (perceptual quantization) curve for displaying and editing HDR (high dynamic range) video content. The optimized gamma curves render images to appear more true to how the human eye perceives the real world compared to SDR (standard dynamic range). Having a monitor equipped with HDR gamma support ensures professional creators can reliably display HDR content during the editing process so it is ready for color grading at the end of the workflow.” Continue reading “Eizo ColorEdge CG279X for Professional Users and HDR Video Editing”

Dell S2419HGF and S2719DGF Gaming Monitors with Glossy Screen Coating

Both feature a glossy screen coating with a low haze treatment to help cut down on some of the reflections a little. They come in an unusual dark blue plastic finish dubbed “Recon Blue” by Dell, with models available in 24” and 27” sizes.
